Fferlys is the pseudonym of Hamilton-based songwriter Robert Fairley. A veteran of the Toronto indie rock scene of the earlier naughts he has grown into his own and refined his focus into his first love: an acoustic guitar and an authentic voice.

The songs are thoughtful, occasionally clever, sometimes dark, but always chasing the light. Fairley's acoustic songwriting draws on traditions in Celtic and Norwegian as well as North American Folk & Blues music, carried into the present with a distinctly modern sound.
